Monday, Sept. 5th: Evening Novice Ride (6:30pm)

New start time: 6:30pm

This ride is being posted on the website, but many of the club members will already have rode 106km earlier in the day and may not wish to ride in the evening, but if people wish to get together and do the usual Monday night ride, here is the place to discuss a starting point and a ride leader. Is there anyone interested in leading this ride? We need a leader and a starting point in order for this ride to occur.

Start time: 6:30
Start location: Donegan Park
Ride Leader: ?

Please indicate by commenting if you are interested in riding and also if you wish to lead the ride.

There is a 20km route that ‘ve done starting right outside my back door in Canton (just north of Port Hope). There are a few hills at the beginning and end of the ride but mostly it is on the flat and there is virtually no traffic. The route goes along country roads, through a forest (still on a paved road though) and beside farmer’s fields – it is very beutiful. If anyone is interested in doing this ride, they would be welcome to meet at my house (It’s easy to find – directions to follow). Pam

Thanks Pam. I will be there.

I’m having to back out. One of my dogs is “hospitalized” and things are up in the air. I was really looking forward to this Pam !

I will be there, just need to know where to go

Monday evening novice ride starting at 6:30pm. It will be a 20km ride with some hills at the beginning and end but otherwise on the flat. (We’ll chanel those big guys who did the 100km ride earlier in the day!) Meet at 4599 Massey Rd in Canton – go 2.5km north of Welcome (which is just north of Port Hope) and turn left onto Massey Rd. – #4599 is almost immediately on the left. Let’s hope the rain holds off.
