Thursday Sept. 20: Ride from Cobourg to Wesleyville (40km)

This ride will be an easy 40km out and back. That’s because we’ve got a BIG ride on Sunday, so we’re taking it easy. (other than the hill climb to get to the other side of Port Hope).

Start time: 10:00am
Start location: The park on Carlisle St. between Ewing and Westwood
Route: Waterfront Trail Westbound to Wesleyville then back. No route map necessary.

Please mention below if you wish to ride.

  1. Jim Keill says:

I’ll be there if the rain holds up.

  2. Mike Mclellan says:

I plan to ride if the rain stays away.

  3. Mary Daly says:

I would like to join the ride from Port Hope? Where could I meet up with the group?

  4. I will start in Cobourg if the rain holds off. As I am really good at being the sweep, does any one else want to bring up the rear with me at perhaps a bit slower pace.

  5. Jim Keill says:

There are very few Waterfront Trail signs once you leave PH however just by staying on the same road and going past the Wesleyville Rd sign through Wesleyville to the East Townline Rd is 41kms roundtrip.

  6. Paul Mills says:

I plan to ride. Departing Rankin and King at 9 40 for Carlise arrival at 10.

  7. Roy Martin says:

Roy Martin & Dave Singfield plan to ride if it isn’t raining.
Also re Mary’s request, I would suggest that she meet us opposite the pub at the top of Walton St at about 10.20am
