Christmas Lights Ride: Friday evening, 7:00pm

lightsThere are a few people planning to get together on Friday night for a casual, easy tour around town to view the Christmas lights by bicycle. (Weather-dependent of course). Being an evening ride, lights on both the front and back of your bike are essential. Afterward, folks might head into a local establishment for wings, or beer, or whatever. It’s a great opportunity to appreciate the lights and skip out on all that Christmas shopping.

Date: Friday December 21st, 7:00pm
Start location: Parking lot behind the Dutch Oven
Route: to be determined by those in attendance
Pace: Slow! Casual!

Please Note: This is not a club-organized ride, nor an OCA sanctioned ride and therefore not covered by the club’s OCA insurance. All riders participate at their own risk.

Please comment below if you plan to ride. Bundle up!

  1. that sounds awesome. Where exactly is the Dutch Oven? I am not totally familiar with this area as of yet & I would like to attend

  2. Shoot. I just checked the calendar and realized we are still curling this Friday evening. So, unless curling gets cancelled for lack of interest, I will not be joining you for the ride. Sometimes you just can’t fit in everything that you want to do…

  3. I’ll be there with bells (and lights!) on! I’ll also have recycled bike chain key chains for sale for Cycle Transitions – only $2!

  4. would love to join but we have plans made already…enjoy the ride, enjoy the lights, Merry Christmas everyone! See you next year! 🙂
