The sun is shining, snow is melting and cycling season will be upon us. We are ready to take memberships for 2014 and the good news is that you’ll be able to get your membership for just $35 (Savings of $10) at our Membership and Wings Night. You’ll also be able to order some wings, sip some beer and talk to others who are undoubtedly anxious to get their bikes out too. Even if you’ve already got your membership, come on out and talk cycling with others. Friends and family are most welcome.(After Feb 27th the regular cost for membership will be $45).

Meet your new NHCC executive for this new 2014 season who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the club:

New for 2014: Can-Bike
This year we will be offering CanBike instruction to all NHCC club members in April/May/June, ensuring that as a club we ride safer than any other out there. CanBike is a program that covers many aspects of cycling safely and enjoyably on the road.

  1. Darn! I just got this email today and would have liked to meet everyone for Wing Night and sign up for membership, but I see it was February 27th. I’ll watch for the next event.

  2. Oops! Must have been a typing error – I see the membership sign up and wings night is March 27th. Guess I will meet everyone after all!!

    • Been thinking about you two…
It’ll be great if you can make it out. A little socializing, bike talk, and stuff like that will begin to get you re-connected in no time.

  3. Sorry, I can’t make the membership night, it’s curling playoff time. Can I drop by your house to sign-up? Thanks!

    • Sure, Elaine. That would work. If you need my address let me know and I’ll email it to you. Good luck with the curling….at least we have winter weather to make it feel really authentic for you!

      • Hi Anita, yes, please will you send me your address, I’ve forgotten….
Yes, curling at this time of year is much easier to bear when it’s cold outside!

  4. Hi, I’m thinking of becoming a member. If I get time can I drop by to meet some people and fined out more information?

    • Yes, Amy! That’s exactly what the evening is for. Come on out, see if you think it might be the right fit for you and then you can decide. Drop in when you get a chance. 🙂

        • Well then, you’ll fit right in! We’re all shy folks around here. But also very friendly and we’ll take good care of you. And it won’t be “formal”. We’ll just be lingering about, yakking and people will be coming and going. If you’re really shy and intimidated, just put on a big smile and nobody will ever suspect! 🙂

  5. T.J and I plan to be out and Barb and John said they would be coming out as well. Sounds like this could turn into a party!!
