August 28th Monday Night Level 2/3 Ride(s)

This week there will be a 2 for 1 Monday night special. We will be offering the usual 6:00 ride lead by The Old Sapper Allan Dennis and an earlier 4:00 ride for those looking for longer distances towards getting fit for the Century Ride next month.

Come for one or the other, or both if you choose. The starting point will be the Furnace Street arena and the total distance will be around 70km. The earlier ride will be more flattish while Allans ride will not.

Please leave a comment below if you are planning on coming out and which ride(s) you’re aiming to do.

Ride #1:
Time: 4:00 pm
Starting Point: Arena on Furnace Street

Ride #2:
Starting Point: Arena on Furnace St
Time: 6:00 pm
Route: L2/3 APD – Salient Sunset
Map: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/24614403
Description: “I’ll not lie there are a few hills on this route but there are options as we go along to add more or take a few off depending on how we feel or the time we have available! By this stage of the season, and after the last couple a flat and fast Lakeshore ride, I’m sure we’re all up for it……. The Old Sapper

    Will try to do both.

  8. Pam Tate says:

Given my fondness for hills 😝 I’m going to try for the 4:00 ride.

    6;00 im in for

  10. Roberto A says:

Thanks to everyone who turned out yesterday. 14 riders in total of which 4 riders completed the early ride and 5 completed the late ride.

That leaves 5 who completed both routes (Carol, Doug, Jim, Raf & yours truly) for approx 70 km and 750+ metres of climbing.

Great effort everyone. Thanks for making riding so much fun.
