Level 4: Thursday August 1. (NEW: 6:00 start time)

Yes indeed! Beagle Club is a great place to start a ride and it’s a beauty route with fantastic views and plenty of rolling hills. Because it’s August and the days are getting shorter we are now starting evening rides at 6:00. at least you can still ride it at whatever pace you want, cuz it’s self-navigated. It’s important to leave a comment letting others know you’ll ride so people can plan.

Level 4: Thursday July 25 is Hill climbing time!

It’s time for some Hills! But don’t worry…. there’s plenty of nice speedy downhill too. This is a self-navigated ride, meaning that you can make it what you want, and that includes pace—no requirement to ride at lightning speed, though the option is there should you wish! That’s why we recommend that you check in with a few others, or leave a comment letting people know your intention in order to ensure there’s a few others coming along with the same mindset regarding speed. Important: Please leave a comment if you intend to ride.

Level 4 Ride: Thursday July 18

ICYMI, the “self-navigated” rides mean that you can make it what you want! Choose a fast pace, or a casual pace, depending on preference, and the group may choose to break into smaller groups. This week’s self-navigated ride is a 46km route, starting from the Hamilton Township offices and going to to Bewdley then back. Available daylight is shrinking every day now! Sunset is at 8:50 this week so be sure you have lights on front and back.
IMPORTANT: For self-navigated rides there may or may not be a ride leader present so you must have access to the route map and also be equipped to change a flat tire if required. Please leave a comment that you are riding so that other can plan accordingly.

We’ve done lots of speed, lots of distance, now it’s time to do Bickle Hill. It’s a new route that we haven’t done before and you have almost a full 2.5 hours to complete it, so it’s certainly doable! This ride was posted a couple of weeks ago however no one attended. Please leave a message if you plan on attending.
Since there have been no volunteers to lead this ride, it will be self-navigated. Please download the route or use the Ride With GPS on your phone to navigate.

Friday Floater Ride July 5th Darlington Soccer Fields To Whitby Harbour Via The Waterfront Trail

Friday Floater, Darlington Soccer Fields To Whitby Harbour Via The Waterfront Trail. An easy relatively flat ride along the lakeshore. This was a big hit last year, so lets do it again. The ride will be relatively slow at times since we are using a shared multi use trail system. Hopefully it will be a little cooler down by the lake also.
I would categorize this as a level 3 or advance level 2 due to the distance.
RSVP: we require a minimum of 5 participants to proceed. Please leave a comment I’d you plan to come.

Ride Leader:Randy Albon
Start time: 10am
