Saturday, September 21st: Discover L&A Ride

The Discover Lennox & Addington Ride has been going on for several years and is a fun opportunity to explore some of the Lennox and Addington area. This event is meant to be a more casual pace with stops along the way to partake of local treats and take in some local sights and history. A number of NHCC members have enjoyed this ride in the past and if anyone is interested in it, early bird registration ends August 15th. Even after that date the price is very reasonable.

Check out the details on the link. https://lennox-addington.on.ca/explore/discover-la-ride
If you register and want to get together with other NHCC folks, leave a comment below.

ALL LEVELS RIDE & SOCIAL: Wednesday, June 19th

It’s the third Wednesday of the month already and it’s time for our once-monthly All Levels Ride and Social! All Levels Rides are a monthly opportunity for all NHCC members to ride together, with the option to try out one of the other levels on an out-and-back route where nobody gets lost.

There will be 4 designated pace-setters among the group, riding at each of the NHCC defined Levels (1-4). Just pick the level you want to try, and follow that pace setter to see what riding at that level really feels like. If you change your mind mid-ride, no problem, just slow down and wait for a group that’s riding at the speed you like. The All Levels Ride is ideal if you think you’d like to feel what the other levels are like without committing.

We ride for 45 minutes (or less depending on your Level) then turn around and head back the same way you went.  Dennis will lead the Level one riders.  Everyone should finish around the same time for the optional social part where we head indoors for drinks, wings, social time and meeting others.

Time: 6:30–8:00pm (ride) 8:00-9:30pm (social)
Route Map: All Levels Ride Out and Back route map link on Ride With GPS
Start location:
The Mill Restaurant, Cobourg.

Please bring a lawn chair, beverage of choice and some extra pocket change for a “puppy kissing booth”. For those wishing only to socialize, donate and kiss puppies, the BBQ will start at approx. 1:00 pm.

Level 4: link to ride with GPS – 68 km Start Time: 9:30 am
Level 3: link to ride with GPS – 48 km Start Time: 10:00 am
