Date Completed: March 25, 2021
Measures we are taking
- How we are keeping up to date: Ensure our procedures are up to date by a daily review of HKPR Health Unit guidance. [Responsibility: Secretary]
- How we are screening for COVID-19: To find out if participants are well when they come to a ride, we will ask each participant basic questions about their physical health and symptoms using the provincial list of COVID-19 symptoms. [Responsibility: Ride Planner] https://www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-stop-spread
- How we are controlling risk of transmission on Club rides: We will record the names of all ride participants for the purposes of Contact Tracing. We will remind participants at the beginning of every ride to maintain physical distancing before and after rides. Social gatherings indoors will not be permitted. [Responsibility: Ride Planner]
- What we will do if we become aware of a potential case, or suspected exposure to, COVID-19: All participants will be asked to advise the Ride Leader if they develop any symptoms that warrant COVID-19 testing. All participants from the ride in question will be advised by email or telephone as soon as possible after the Ride Planner or any Director becomes aware of a potential case/exposure. No personally identifying information will be given. All ride participants will be advised that they are required to abstain from club activities for 10 days. [Responsibility: Ride Planner and/or any Board Director]
IMPORTANT: Public Health directives may require rides to be postponed, restricted, or cancelled. The NHCC monitors the situation on a regular basis and will post any changes/restrictions on our website.
