We’ll meet downtown Cobourg and head out for some urban exploration.  We always have fun, there’s always great conversation, and we always get a great low-impact workout.  We’ll keep a brisk pace to keep warm and we typically cover between 7-10kms over the space of a few hours.

This is a MEMBERS ONLY activity: Sorry, until provincial gathering restrictions are lifted, we cannot permit Guests. If you haven’t renewed your 2022 membership, now’s the time!

Evening Hike: Thursday December 9, 6:30pm

We did Cobourg for the past few weeks, so this week we’ll switch back to Port Hope—mostly because we want to go see the big lights display on Choate Road. You know the one….it’s really something else! And if you don’t know, come on out and see for yourself.  It’s worth the walk. It’s about a 10k hike, and we recommend you bring a headlamp or flashlight.  And hey, let’s get festive this week and put our lights on!

GUESTS are now welcome! All they need to do is bring along a signed 2021 non-cycling Waiver!

Date: Thursday December 9, 6:30pm

The 2021 NHCC AGM & Social Festivity

This is the official notice of our upcoming AGM, where we conduct a little official club biz, then get down to the best stuff, our Social Festivity where we’ll see happy smiling faces, muse about how much we love cycling, re-connect with friends we may not have seen for a while. You’ll meet the Directors for 2022 and you can ask whatever Club questions might be on your mind in an informal setting!  And hey, there’ll be free refreshments (that alone makes it worthwhile!), and you can renew your memberships at the special AGM rate of $35.

Date: Tuesday November 30th, 2021

Getting there

Routes

We have some preliminary routes worked out.  These may change of course, but it gives an overview of what to expect!

Overnight Option

With two days of riding, some participants may decide to make independent arrangements for overnight accommodation making it a great getaway! Once we know how many are coming, we’ll circulate the list so that people can choose to make plans with others.
