Sunday, November 6th: afternoon hike

It’s back to the Northumberland Forest on Sunday afternoon. The Beagle Club Trails will be closed to all activites except cross country skiing starting in December so we’ll get some more hikes in there beforehand, and it’s a good refresher for remembering the trails when the snow comes. Bring fluids and a snack. and once again we can figure out where we want to go once we meet. Plan to be out for a couple of hours or so, but if someone wants to hike a shorter distance, it’s possible to start with a loop that’ll bring us back to the lot to drop them off.
Date: Sunday, November 6th
Start Time: 1:00
Meeting Location: parking lot at Beagle Club Trail
Hike Organizer: Maria Siemiaszko

Tuesday, November 8th: morning hike in Northumberland Forest

This Tuesday’s morning hike is heading out of town to the Northumberland Forest for a 6 or 7 hike on the Black Oak Trail.   This trail has a even surface and includes some hills. The group will meet at the parking lot behind Harden and Huyse to car pool to the Woodland parking lot, but if you prefer to meet everyone up there instead, please indicate that in your comment. If everyone is agreeable, there can be a stop at the Scenery Drive Restaurant (on 45 at Cty Rd 22 aka Centreton Road) on the way home.

Date: Tuesday, November 8th

Meeting Location: parking lot behind Harden and Huyse, or Woodland Trail parking lot

Time: 9:00 (at H&H)

Hike Leader: Bruce Bellair

Saturday, November 5th: hike

The temperature should be pretty nice for November so if you want to move your legs, get some fresh air, and enjoy the outdoor scenery, come for a hike in the Northumberland Forest. In case the bears are still around we should make enough noise to keep them away! We’ll amble along for a couple of hours or so and can decide where we want to go as a group once we meet. Bring some fluids and a snack.
Date: Saturday, November 6th
Start Time: 10:00
Meeting Location: Beagle Club parking lot in Northumberland Forest
Hike Organizer: Maria Siemiaszko
