Sprained foot and all, Anita will take the Level 1 ride on a tour of streets in the north part of Port Hope that we often hike during the off season, including the famed “Record Alley”

We’re well into the riding season and everyone seems to be having a lot of fun! Please remember to keep safe and be prepared while riding. Make sure you bring plenty of fluids, check that your bike is in good working order, and come prepared for those unexpected emergencies with a cell phone, I.D., some money, and a spare tube appropriate for your tires.

It’s still hot out there so Dennis, your ride leader for this evening, says to bring money as this is an ice cream ride.

Wednesday will be a regular Level 1 ride, but in addition to it, Mike Collins will also offer a Level 1 plus option for those who want to try a few small hills. This is ideal for those wondering if they could also do Level 2 rides. Both rides will start at the same place and after a bit of a warm up comes decision time as the whether you want to try a notch above in difficulty.

The weather is supposed to be nicer on Monday so bring a little money and we can stop for ice cream near the end of the ride if everyone wants.

The Level 1’s will ride outside of town along the lake in the Wicklow Beach area with Petra. This is a scenic ride on a usually quiet road,and very few stop signs! Petra would appreciate knowing if you are coming so please comment below if you are.
