The 100km Presqu’ile Ride Pre-notice. For those who don’t know, sometime in August or September we do a club ride from Cobourg to the lighthouse at Presqu’ile and back. It’s a 100km ride and almost all flat. It’s easy enough riding that it’s doable for all members of the club including new members. It’s a goal to work towards—so there’s an incentive to put in some mileage and try and stretch out the distance on some longer rides.
Start time: 7:00pm
Location: Cobourg Memorial Rink and Recreation Centre
Route Map: “Route 1” 23km with optional 5km or 7km extensions
I’ve got a graduation ceremony to attend on Monday so won’t be there to lead the ride. We’ll need someone to do that. Anyone want to do so? I can provide some directions for a route if necessary.
