A 41km jaunt through the Northumberland country side, worthy of the Club’s name of Northumberland HILLS Cycle Club. We’ll head to the Ste Anne Spa area through Danforth and Massey then up Clouson to county Rd 23. Return via Stewart and Community Centre road. We won’t lie there are a few hills to climb (442 metres of total climbing) – but what goes up must come down and I can promise to both start and finish at Lake Level!

Whoooooo!!! Great turnout tonight folks. 16 riders took on and beat the Sappers latest cleverly designed route.
We could have done without the gravel truth be told but nonetheless we rode 36km at 22 kph, which is quite the achievement.
Shout out to newcomer Raf who bravely made it through the entire route…and plans to return next week (..wink, wink).
That said I’m looking forward already to our next Monday night ride with this fun group. Wonder what the mean old Sapper will have in store next time.
