Monday, February 26th: Rafting Presentation at the Loft

This is not an official club event but since we’re an outdoorsy and adventurous bunch there may be some who would be interested in a free presentation at The Loft by Canadian River Expeditions and Nahanni River Adventures owner Neil Halting. It would be nice if anyone interested in going would leave a comment below.  There’s always the opportunity to make this more of a social event if you want to arrange to meet up for dinner and drinks beforehand!

Date:  Monday,  February 26th
Time:  7:00
Location:  The Loft Cinema, 201 Division Street, Cobourg

  1. I’d like to join you too! Dinner beforehand sounds like a plan. Tara, will you need a ride? If so, phone me – still no internet at home – and we can arrange it. Will someone please let me know where/when we will meet for dinner? 🙂 also, I think you need to email Ken at the Loft to let him know you are coming.

  2. Ok, so we should think about a dinner venue. Corfu Grill is an option though it’s rather small. Golden Chopsticks? Buttermilk?

  3. Can we get confirmation where we are meeting for dinner and what time? I plan to go to the Cycle Transitions thing at 4 too, though i can’t find the link now.

  4. I sense a leaning toward Buttermilk based on bits and pieces of discussions I’ve heard. How about we make dinner reservations for 5:00 or 5:30? What time works best for everyone?

  5. Update: apparently the Bulltermilk is closed on Monday’s so we need another option for 10 people. How about either the Cat n Fiddle, or Oasis. Anyone?

  6. I’m good with anywhere.
Is Corfu Grill too small for 10? I haven’t been and would like to try it.
Oasis, golden chopsticks would both be close too.
Whatever is open and can seat all of us.

  7. Corfu Grill is very tiny and I don’t think 10 people would fit comfortably. Let’s say Oasis at 5:15. I can call and reserve for 10 people. The reservation will be under my name. See you all there.
