It has been suggested that traction devises like icers or icespikes may be preferred to snowshoes. So this maybe turn into more of a hike than a snowshoe…but rest assured either method will work fine if you only have one or the other.
I am getting ready to come up as well. I will bring snowshoes and ice pick thiingies.
