Saturday Hike, Hot Chocolate & Who knows….maybe beer

There’s a 12 km Shelter Valley Area Hike on the schedule for Saturday. The weather so far shows 3C and no snow. We’ll borrow a route from the Pine Ridge Hiking Club which encompasses an unmaintained and back country roads. Bring a snack and drink. Should be a great outing! After the hike if you are feelin’ social, we’ll head back to Anita & Randy’s for hot chocolate, or even a homebrew.

Date: Saturday, December 13th
Time: 1:00
Place: Meet on Shelter Valley Road just north of Hwy 2. We’ll drive up to the starting point together
Hike Leader: Maria Garrett

If you plan to come, please leave a comment letting us know so we can make sure to have enough hot chocolate to go ’round.

  1. Oo-o-o that sounds so fun! There’s something about the first snowfall that brings out the kid in me. I’ll be making snow angels for sure! I need to be back home by 5:30 at the very latest though as I am going out that night. Will this be possible?

    • As far as doing the hike and making snow angels are concerned you will be home in time Pam. I’m not too sure about the socializing. How fast do you drink? 😉
