Klaus … The early start is a necessity for me this weekend. Yes, I’ve ridden it somewhat recently. Why do you ask? Anything we should be concerned about?
Not so much concerned as being aware…As of last week Elgin between Brook and Greer had still not been completed; Payne still has rough patches and gravel, especially where they have been working on the solar panels and you’ll probably have to walk up Skyview.

I am planning on attending. I have done longer rides, but a level 3 ride is new to me. I am an early riser and I would like to try the ride. I do have a backup escape plan if things go south!

Well done everyone!
We had eight riders out for this morning’s adventure. We tackled hefty climbs, fast rainy descents, gravel climbs & descents, one flat tire, and a brisk headwind on the way home. Group etiquette was excellent, road rules were followed and all riders displayed handling prowess over the mixed surfaces, all while enjoying each others company. A very safe & enjoyable ride.
