Not quite as hilly as last week but about as long.
Definitely not as scenic. All asphalt and no gravel.
We will start out at the Westwood Park in Cobourg on Carlisle St., head out through New Amherst and along the Waterfront Trail to Theatre Rd. a gradual climb up Theatre Rd, to Telephone Left (west) to Hamilton (moderate hill here). Up Hamilton to Dale Rd. (Dale Rd is busy but we will have a proper bike lane), East on Dale Rd. (big hill to get to Danforth) Down Danforth, across Burnham to Ontario (ups and downs but moderate and mostly downs. Back into town south on Ontario St, Margaret, King and up Westwood back to the park. 24.6km total ride.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Pam! I am learning lots riding along with such great, experienced cyclists in this club. Speedy G (that’s my bike- short for Speedy Gonzales) and I are having a great summer so far! See ya tonight for a hot and sweaty ride.
