It’s going to be a little chillier than we are used to, but it doesn’t matter because you’ll be moving! We tend to walk pretty darn fast on our evening hikes. You’ll probably even get your heart rate going a little, justifying the hot drink that we’ll pop into The Social for afterwards.
What should you expect on a Wednesday night hike? We usually congregate in the parking lot at Port Hope Town Hall at 6:00 then head out for an urban hike that takes us in and out of the nooks and crannies of Port Hope. It’s a different atmosphere than a bike ride–You really get a chance to talk to each other and get to know them! The Christmas lights make November/December evening hikes particularly nice. Wear a pair of comfortable shoes, dress in layers–everything after that will take care of itself. 🙂
