We appreciate that a lot of rides are being posted resulting in possible email overload. So, we are going to try something new and include multiple rides in one single posting. This should significantly reduce the quantity of email notifications you receive. Starting next week, all rides from Monday to Sunday will be covered in one simple post. For now, we’ll cover this Thursday till Sunday:
Thursday July 23: Combined level 3/4 morning ride
Notes: This is a Ganaraska Freewheelers route, and always guaranteed to be a great one! It’s also self-guided group ride (no ride leader), so please be sure to prepare by having a map printed out, or accessible by cell-phone.

I realize that most of those who voted were in favour of an earlier start in July/August but for me, getting to Warkworth before 9:00 means getting up very early!!! I’m an old guy so I won’t be there…alas!
I know the feeling Klaus! I am not a morning person. We’ll see how many people really are.
I also voted for 10:00 Klaus, so you’re not alone! I’d consider joining you for a later start

I know the Warkworth main street isn’t very long, but is there a good place to meet, with parking?
We could meet at the Warkworth Conservation Area at the corner of Mill Street and Old Hastings Road. There is just a little parking lot there but there should be road parking along side the park on 29

Hmmm. I wonder if maybe we need to reconsider the 9:00 start. On Thursday there was just two of us.
Well, I won’t be able to ride for the next week or so due to family obligations but I was out yesterday with the Freewheelers, starting at 10:00 in Gosport and 15 showed up!
Well I’m glad I read the comments above. I was going to show at 9:00- although I prefer the start at 10 also.
I will see everyone there tomorrow.
Ps should adjust official start time above to 10 so people know…? Or indicate some are starting at 10? (Perhaps others would prefer the later start time but may not check the comments)
