THE WHEELY FUN CLUB NEWS!

This week’s Hikes! Tuesday Afternoon and Thursday Evening

We have two different hikes this week, two totally different styles! On Tuesday afternoon (1pm) we meet at the Northumberland Forest for a forest experience and the Thursday evening (6:30pm) in the parking lot on Albert St (10 Albert St). we will start from downtown Cobourg for an urban hike—which often leads to a beverage at a local establishment afterward. Last week for instance, we discovered that the new brewery in Port Hope has great beer! You can find all the details and also RSVP on the Cycle Club app!

GUESTS are now welcome! All they need to do is bring along a signed 2021 Off-Season Waiver!

Please RSVP by either:

  • Logging in to Cycle Club either on the web, or on your mobile device and go from there. If you aren’t setup yet, start here: Cycle Club website/app
  • Leave a comment on the website to say you are coming!

This is a ride for those of you who are looking for some serious distance. Lunch: Hastings is a halfway point, so we suggest stopping for lunch […]

Last week was a washout, so let’s hope for better this Monday. The days are getting shorter, but there’s still plenty of opportunity to get some rides in. We’ll meet at The Mill restaurant parking lot and head out for a little country ride. A few hills, but nothing too crazy. We need a ride […]

Wednesday evening Advanced ride: Aug. 17th (6:00pm)

The days are getting shorter…..this ride will have to start at 6:00pm if we are to finish it before the sun sets. We’re going to ride like the wind up Bickle Hill, then over to do the Jamieson twins. Don’t you just love hills? You’ll hardly notice them, since it’s late in the season and we’re […]
