Saturday April 11 (10 am) – All Levels Ride, 20 or 30km

We’re still in “off-season” but it’s sure looking like awesome cycling weather, so there’s no reason to sit indoors. This route is only 29.7km but if you want to cut off some distance, you can make it about 20km by taking a shortcut at Danforth Rd.  And hey, if you want to go longer, you could freestyle it and extend the route at the northern end.

Start time: 10:00am
Start location: The park on Carlisle St. between Ewing and Westwood
Route: Town and Country route map here.

If you might ride, let us know. Hopefully the forces of nature will be kind and work out for us. Let us know if you’re thinking of 30k or 20k. (or even longer)

  1. Hey Mike thanks for posting this. I would like to come out but haven’t bought my membership yet. Will you have forms on hand or should I contact Anita?

  2. Hey Roberto
    Welcome back
The membership forms can be found under the Membership tab on the menu bar.
I can take the form and check from you if Anita isn’t riding on Saturday

  3. Hi Mike,
Sounds like a really great idea! I plan to be there, weather permitting, but skin is waterproof so it’ll have to be pretty bad!
I’ll keep you posted if plans change.
    Allan

  4. Mike just a reminder that the road going into Presquile is re paved and makes for a good ride into the park but has 4 large speed bumps you have to slow down for. Still some sand on the bike path parts on the day use loop but the heavy rains will help wash some away.

  5. 6 riders in total. 16.93 km according to my phone. Thanks Mike for leading. Thanks Anita and Paul for the safety pep talk at the start.
