This route has three options all on the same map. The map is from 2012, so there’s no link to it this time, just the printable version. The 28km route option may be suitable for Level 2 riders who are confident. We need volunteers to lead. Please use the comment section if you can lead one of the routes. The Tour de Northumberland Hills distance is only 17.6 for Thursday, so you get your distance in regardless of which route you take.
Important note: For July and August, the morning ride start time is 9:00am.
Start time: 9:00am
Start location: Parking lot behind Dutch Oven

Ride Leader (Level 2): Being determined
Ride leader (Level 3): Bruce Bellaire (if it doesn’t rain) 🙂
Ride leader (Level 4): Anita Macklin
I can lead the medium route…as long as it does not rain.
Your’e in as ride leader. (And it won’t rain, I hope!)
I rode over just before 9. As I expected, there were a few people waiting who had not seen the post.
It was spitting but the weather did not look too threatening. Peter went off to climb some hills and Abbey, Jenn, and I set out along the Lakeshore, planning to turn around if it started to rain. We made it out to Wicklow Beach and back with only a few spits (from the clouds, not bystanders).
That’s it for me until August. See you then.
I plan to ride 44k with Bruce.
Radar’s not looking good at all……rain around 10:00 for a couple of hours.
Accweather shows thunderstorms at 12:00.
I hate to cancel another ride, but I think it must be done. Maybe tonight will be better and we can all ride then!
Darn too, cause I’m all dressed and ready to go!
