New Year’s Day Ride, January 1 2014: Potluck after
Dig out the bike and all your cold weather riding gear, it’s an NHCC tradition. The Randy’s New Years Day Ride and Potluck will take place on January 1st. If you just simply can’t find your bike cuz it’s lost in the garage somewhere, you are welcome to do the Potluck only, mingling at the house while others ride.
Here’s what you need to bring:
–Your spouse or partner is welcome
–A yummy dish of some sort
–Your own dishes and cutlery
–Your bike (if you are riding)
Special note about the ride and the weather: The length of the ride will be weather dependent. If it’s totally miserable out there and safety is a concern we will change plans from a ride to a hike, the potluck still going forth. If you need an address and directions to Randy’s house, please email the NHCC and we’ll make sure you have the info.
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Randy’s house
Route: To be determined (weather dependent)
Please RSVP by commenting below so that Randy knows how many to expect and can plan accordingly.

Any interest in a March Break Cycling tour?
March break is coming up, and George from Port Hope Bicycle is looking to see if there any people interested in possibly heading southward for some cycle touring in North Carolina? It doesn’t have to bee all-out speedy break neck riding. He will plan according to the interests and abilities of those who want to go!
No commitment required yet. Just leave a comment to let George know that there’s enough interest to begin planning.
*Note: The nature of this event is not covered by our Club insurance program. Participants would be required to make suitable insurance arrangements in advance.
