Wednesday, July 6th: Evening Advanced Ride (6:00pm)

This is a NEW ride on a NEW night and it’s especially for you advanced folks who are looking for speed and/or hills. Depending on interest it could become a regular event. We’ll be heading straight out to the country and all hills are fair game! Bickle Hill here we come!

Ride: Sunday July 3: “Grafton East”

This Sunday’s ride will be the same as Thursday’s. This route, borrowed from the Freewheelers, has three different distance options. (31, 36, and 51km)

Can-Bike Instructor Course looking for candidates

The Northumberland Safety Committee has approved funding for certifying Can-Bike Instructors and will be delivered in two phases.

These courses will be conducted in Cobourg starting with phase one this summer. Dates July 20,21,22. This course has openings for eight candidates who can commit to phase 1 and 2 and eventually to offering Can Bike courses in Northumberland county to promote safe and enjoyable riding to others.

There are currently two spaces open. Please contact Paul Mills if you are interested.

Monday, June 27: Evening Novice Ride (7:00pm)

On the last Monday night ride we had 10 riders out and had a great trip throughout town, enjoying a leisurely, easy-paced ride. This Monday we’re planning more of the same but with a stop at the Ice Cream parlour down by the pier for a little social time. (So don’t forget to bring a couple of toonies with you)
