Jim is taking us on “Baltimore and Back Version 2” His description: “Route: North on D’Arcy, to Elgin, East to Greer Road, North to Danforth, East to Nagel, North to Hircock, back on Nagel, East on Van Luven, then South on Meadowvale, Nagel, Hircock, Nagel, East on Danforth, South on Jarvis, East on Elgin, South on Workman, from Highway 2 follow Waterfront Trail back to Donegan Park. About 20 km.
This route has a couple of hills but they are not steep. For these hills, slow and steady works very well.
On the way back on Danforth instead of going down Workman, there is the option of continuing on Danforth and doing Hill 60.
Reminder: Make sure you have working lights.” Please chime in using the comments section if you are planning to ride or can sweep so we will know to expect you.

ALL LEVELS RIDE & SOCIAL – Wednesday, August 15th
We have received some feedback to change things up a bit for this month’s social, so let’s do that! This time we will meet at Port Hope Town Hall.
As usual, there will be 4 designated pace-setters among the group, riding at each of the NHCC defined Levels (1-4). All Levels Rides are a monthly opportunity for all NHCC members to get together, try a new level(optional) and meet other members.
With the days getting shorter, we will start at 6:00 pm and ride for 40 minutes (or less depending on your Level) then turn around and head back. This ensures everyone finishes at the same time where we head indoors for drinks, some food and the social part. The venue is a short stroll or ride from Town Hall to Turtle Johns, 64 John Street, Port Hope.
