Northumberland Hills Cycling Club (NHCC) is the largest and most active cycling club centred around Cobourg, Ontario. With 100+ fun people to ride with, 11 regular season weekly rides, hiking and snowshoeing in off-season, and endless friendships to be made!

NHCC Cycle-Safe Basics (online) session tonight
Just a reminder that tonight we are running our NHCC Cycle-Safe Basics (online) session. It’s about an hour and a half long, and it’s a great investment of time! We encourage safety training for everyone. A little bit of information could go a long way toward preventing the unthinkable!
Its tonight, Wednesday April 20th, 6:30pm
The Cycle-Safe Clinic delivered by Dennis and Anita who are both formally trained cycling safety instructors. We will cover essential safety principles and group riding techniques to help you build confidence in riding with a group and in traffic safely. We’ll cover:
- Cycling and the Law
- Basic Bicycle Inspection
- Traffic Cycling Principles
- Where do you ride
- Lane positioning
- Intersections
- Rules of the Road
- Right and Left turns
- Group Riding
