Off-season (non-cycling) activities with the NHCC
The NHCC may be in off-season mode but it doesn’t mean we aren’t active! There are plenty of club activities including mid-week hiking in-town and weekend hikes or cross-country skiing (when it snows) in the local forests. We love seeing new smiling faces, so if you’ve been thinking about it, come on out and give it a try.
Off season non-cycling events are open to everyone and it’s FREE! We do however require that non-members bring a signed waiver form to any event. Simply print it, sign it, and bring it with you to give to the organizer.
Got questions? Feel free to leave it in the comments section and we’ll be right on it!

Christmas Light Ride – Monday December 11th
Let’s get together for an easy evening tour around town to view the Christmas lights by bicycle! (Weather-dependent of course). And….let’s decorate our bikes too! The brighter the better. Of course our regular bike lights on both the front and back of your bike are most important. It’s a great chance to get out and appreciate the lights. Afterward we can stop in somewhere for some eggnog to finish off the evening. Bundle up!

Start location: Parking lot behind the Dutch Oven
Route: to be determined by those in attendance
Pace: Slow! Casual!
Tuesday, December 5th: cancellation of morning hike
